1. When you open and log in to the Greet and Attend app, you will see the following options: Track Attendance and Add Individual. (See Figure 1) Keep in mind that all information is being pulled from and saved to your Servant Keeper 7 Cloud database.


  2. Touch Track Attendance if you wish to begin taking attendance for an Activity or Sunday School class. You will be presented with a list of your activities. (See Figure 2) If you wish to take attendance for Sunday School classes, instead, click the drop-down arrow next to “Activities”, choose “Sunday School”, then touch [OK]; you will now be presented with a list of your Sunday School classes.

    By default, the date selected will be for the previous Sunday. Click the drop-down arrow next to the date if you wish to track attendance for a different day.

    When you are ready to begin taking attendance for the date selected, touch one of the activities (or Sunday School classes) on the list.


  3. After selecting an event, you will see a list of the individuals who have the selected Activity or Sunday School class in their Servant Keeper Individual Profile. (See Figure 3) There are 4 options for selecting records to attend:

    • Touch each name to manually check the box next to each attendee.

    • Touch the hamburger menu (three lines/dots) in the top right-hand corner and choose Check All. Touch each name to manually uncheck the box next to each absentee, if any.

    • Touch the hamburger menu in the top right-hand corner and choose Find Individuals to search for one of your existing individuals. Search for and select the individual you wish to add, then touch [Done] at the top of the screen. Using the Find Individuals feature will not only attend the individual to the selected event for the selected date, but it will also add the selected Activity/Sunday School class to the person’s Individual Profile (so they appear on the class roster in the future).

    • Touch the hamburger menu in the top right-hand corner and choose Add Visitor to add a new family or a new individual to an existing family. Using the Add Visitor option will not only attend the individual to the selected event for the selected date, but it will also add the selected Activity/Sunday School class to the person’s Individual Profile (so they appear on the class roster in the future). See Step 6 below for more information about adding visitors.


      NOTE: Touch Uncheck All from the hamburger menu in the top right-hand corner to deselect all names (i.e. unattend everyone) for the selected event and day.


  4. After selecting all of the individuals you would like to attend for the selected date and event, click the [Save] button at the top of the screen. (See Figure 3) You will be taken back to the list of your events. Continue taking attendance for as many dates and events as needed.

  5. If you selected the Add Individual option on the main screen (see Figure 1), you will be taken to an area where you can search for the individual’s name to check for duplicates before adding the new person. (See Figure 4) Type the individual’s name, then click the magnifying glass icon to search.

    If the person is already in the system, their name will appear, and the Back button can be used to leave the Add Individual area. If the individual is not found, touch the Add Individual button to begin adding a new family or individual.


  6. You’ll see the New Family and Individual screen. (See Figure 5) Choose between:

    • New Family: Select this option to add a new family (Head of Household) into SK. Fill in the available fields with any information you have for the new person (including title, gender, first name, last name, address, member status, relationship, phone, cell phone, and email). Notice that the “Relationship” field defaults to “Head of Household”.

    • Add to Existing Family: Select this option to add a new individual (Spouse, Son, Daughter, etc.) to an existing family in SK. Search for and choose the family you would like to add the new person to. After selecting the correct family and choosing [Yes] on the “Are you sure...” prompt, you will be taken to the area where you can enter the individual’s personal information (including title, gender, first name, last name, address, member status, relationship, phone, cell phone, and email). Notice that the “Relationship” field is blank enabling you to choose a relationship, and the address fields are pre-filled.

Using either option, touch the silhouette icon to add a picture of the individual; choose between taking a photo on your device’s camera or selecting an existing photo from your gallery. Click [Save] at the top of the screen to save your addition.
