By default, the Report Editor is disabled, as it is designed to be used as a developer tool by an IT professional or programmer. To enable the editor, you would need to update settings in both your User Security and your System Preferences (please see the instructions below). Please know the HelpDesk does not support the Report Editor.

To enable the Report Editor, in your User Security, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open and log in to the Administration Manager.
  2. Click [User Security].
  3. Double-click on the User ID you would like to edit.
  4. Select the "Membership" tab.
  5. Check items "9.1" through "9.6".
  6. Select the "Contribution" tab.
  7. Check items "3.10" through "3.15".
  8. Click [Save].
  9. Click [Close].
  10. Close completely out of Servant Keeper and log back in to the program for your new permissions to take effect.

To enable the Report Editor in your System Preferences: 

  1. Open and log in to the Contribution Manager or Membership Manager (if you wish to enable the Report Editor in both modules, follow these steps in both).
  2. Click File | System Preferences.
  3. Choose the "Miscellaneous" tab.
  4. Check "Show Report Editor tools".

  5. Click [Save].
