The Servant Keeper 7 Mac installation was designed to be installed on a Mac computer and connected  to a Hosted SK7 database. This installation allows you to use SK7 directly on your Mac without the use of a Windows emulation program. The instructions below will guide you through installing Servant Keeper 7 on your Mac.

  1. Open the email you received that contains the download link for the Mac version  of Servant Keeper 7. Click on the link to begin your download. (See Figure 1)

  2. You will see the download begin on your Dock. (See Figure 2) When the download  completes, click on the Downloads icon and choose “servantkeepermac.dmg”.

    NOTE: If you cannot locate the Downloads icon on your Dock, go into Finder and choose  
    Downloads from the list on the left-hand side.

  3. You will see a progress window as the file is opened. (See Figure 3) Wait for the  file to load and you will automatically be taken to the next step.

  4. A Servant Keeper window will appear. (See Figure 4) Drag and drop the Servant  Keeper icon into the Applications folder.

  5. A progress window will appear as Servant Keeper is copied into your Applications  folder. (See Figure 5) When the file is done copying, double click on the Applications folder to open it.

  6. In the Applications window, double click on Servant Keeper to begin the installation.  (See Figure 6)

  7. You will now see the End User License Agreement. (See Figure 7) Read through  the agreement, check “I accept all of the terms of the preceding license agreement”, and click [Next] to continue.

  8. On the next window, click [Finish] to begin the installation. (See Figure 8)

  9. You will see the setup go through a quick installation and then the Setup is Complete  window will appear. (See Figure 9) Click [Close] to continue.

  10. The next window that appears is another end user license agreement. (See  Figure 10) Read through the text and click [Yes] to accept the agreement.

  11. The Welcome to the Setup Wizard window will appear. (See Figure 11) Click [Next] to continue  with the installation.

  12. You will now see a License Agreement. (See Figure 12) Read through the  agreement, choose “I accept the terms in the license agreement”, and click [Next].

  13. On the Setup Type window, choose Typical, and click [Next]. (See Figure 13)

  14. The Ready to Install window will appear. (See Figure 14) Click [Install] to continue  with the installation process.

  15. You may now see a Resuming the Setup Wizard window. (See Step 15) If this  window appears, click [Next] to continue. If you do not see this window, proceed to Step 16.

  16. When the Wizard Completed window appears, click [Finish] to exit the setup  window. (See Figure 16)

  17. You will see a second Wizard Complete window. (See Figure 17) Click [Finish]  to complete the setup.

  18. The Customer Login window will be displayed. (See Figure 18) Enter in your  Customer Name, Username, and Hosted Database License Key in the appropriate boxes. Click [Connect] to connect to your SK7 cloud database.

    NOTE: If you do not know your Customer Name, Username, or Hosted Database License Key,  
    you can find this information in the “Servant Keeper 7 Cloud Data Login Information” email you received after purchasing SK7. If you are unable to locate the email, please call the SK Help Desk for additional assistance.

  19. After the correct credentials have been entered on the Customer Login window,  you will be taken to the Servant Keeper 7 Cloud Databases screen. (See Figure 19) Here you will see a database listed as “sk7dbxxxxx_1” (where the x’s represent your SK Customer ID number). Click once on the database to select it and click the [Choose Database] button.

  20. The program is now successfully installed! The Servant Keeper 7 Launcher will  appear. (See Figure 20) Notice that your Cloud User name is listed along with your Database. Choose Administration Manager 7, Membership Manager 7, or Contribution Manager 7 to open the SK7 program. Close the launcher if you would not like to open SK7 at this time.
