See the information below for an overview of how to use each field found on the "Marriage" tab in the Individual Sacrament Record:


NOTE: These fields will be available when adding or editing a marriage sacrament. Learn how to add a marriage sacrament HERE.


  • This is the Current Marriage: The Sacraments area will allow you to record previous marriages as well as current marriages. Check the box to indicate this marriage as the current (active) marriage.

  • Groom: Displays the name and address of the groom.

  • Bride: Displays the name and address of the bride.

  • Marital Status: Click the drop-down menu to select the Marital Status for this marriage sacrament. If necessary, right click on the blue down arrow () at the end of the Marital Status field to open the "Edit Marital Status" box. Any changes made here will affect the options you see on the Marital Status drop-down menu in the SK Membership Manager.

  • Prep Year: Defaults to the current year. Use the up/down arrows () or type a year in the box to select the Prep Year.

  • Completed: Check the box to indicate that the marriage is complete.

  • Wedding Date: Click the calendar icon () to select a date or type a date in the box provided. This field is only available if the "Completed" checkbox is checked. This field is tied directly to the "Wedding Date" in the Membership Manager Individual Profile.

  • Registry Volume: Type the Registry Volume in the box provided to indicate where the marriage information is recorded.

  • Registry Page: Type the Registry Page in the box provided to indicate where the marriage information is recorded.

  • Registry Number: Type the Registry Number in the box provided to indicate where the marriage information is recorded.

  • Location: Your organization's location will auto-fill by default. Any locations that had been entered in the "Location Editor" area will appear here. Click the drop-down menu to select a location or right click on the blue down arrow () at the end of the Location field to Add/Edit/Delete items from the Sacrament Location List.

  • Officiant: Type the name of the officiant who performed the marriage in the box provided.

  • Witness 1: Type the name of the individual's witness in the box provided OR click the [Unlinked] button to link an existing individual in your database to this marriage record as a witness.

  • Witness 2: Type the name of the individual's witness in the box provided OR click the [Unlinked] button to link an existing individual in your database to this marriage record as a witness.

  • Canonical: Check the box to indicate a canonical marriage.

  • Disparity of Cult: Check the box to indicate disparity of cult.

  • Disparity Note: Enter an optional note regarding the disparity. This field is only available if the "Disparity of Cult" box is checked.

  • Annulled: Check the box to indicate a marriage that has been annulled.

  • Annulment Date: Click the calendar icon () to select a date or type a date in the box provided. This field is only available if the "Annulled" checkbox is checked.

  • Banns: Check the box to indicate requirements for banns have been completed.

  • Mixed Religion: Check the box to indicate mixed religion.

  • Former Marriage: Check the box to indicate a former marriage.

  • Annulment Number: If the "Annulled" box is checked, you have the option of entering an annulment number in the box provided.

  • Note: Enter any notes regarding this marriage in the box provided.
